Volunteer Opportunities

If you are interested in volunteering in the Clavey Watershed, the Tuolumne River Trust is conducting three pilot projects:

Project 1: Development and installation of interpretive displays at Bourland Trestle—a significant heritage resource within the Watershed.

Project 2: Development and installation of interpretive displays at Bell Meadows Research Natural Area—the largest quaking aspen stand in the Central and Southern Sierra.

Project 4: Development of a Clavey River education poster

Project 3: Trail Rehabilitation in Bell Meadows to repair .25 miles of trail causing erosion and soil loss into Bell Creek.

Contact Galen Weston or Rebecca Cremeen at the Tuolumne River Trust, (209) 588-8636 or galen@tuolumne.org, rebecca@tuolumne.org  for more information or to volunteer. Offers of time, labor and select materials are welcome.
